Every site gets monitoring the day it goes live, and we check it through our own monitoring system. One missed check raises no alarm, only the second in a row - that opens an incident record and sends us an alert, and you too by email if you want it, both when it goes down and when it comes back.
The portal shows you the uptime percentage for the last 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, a response time chart and a list of outages if there were any. Not our word for it but a measurement you can see in the portal.
Automatic daily database backups, plus the complete Git history of every code change. If something breaks, we bring back the previous version instead of building it again.
We track the certificate expiry and the domain expiry automatically and the warning reaches us in advance, while there is still time to renew. The silliest way for a site to disappear is a date that ran out, and that is an outage with no reason to happen.
